Life wilds carry a multiplier and raise it when they are part of a win. Death wilds copy the multiplier of a life wild they touch and spread it across the reel, killing the ordinary symbols underneath and replacing them with wilds. On their own each type is a decent feature; together on one grid they produce the screens the game is famous for, where a single reel of multiplied wilds crosses every payline. Nothing sticks in the base game, so the combination has to happen within one spin, and that is where the volatility comes from.
The mirrored bonus
Free spins come in two modes, named after the two sides. The life mode seeds the reels with life wilds whose multipliers persist through the round; the death mode makes the spreading wilds sticky instead.
